Thanksgiving Break

We just returned from Salt Lake City last night. It was so much fun! We went to visit Jeremy's whole family. His sister Lisa lives there with her husband Darren, and kids Austin and Jaxon. We also got to see his other sister Keely and her husband Jason and her two kids Tyler and Savannah. Savannah was just born 3 months ago and is so adorable! Jeremy's parents flew in a few days later just in time for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time.

Lisa did a wonderful job planning out our itinerary. We were able to explore downtown Salt Lake, go iceskating outdoors at night when all the Christmas lights were displayed, eat at Blue Iguana (rated as one of the best dives by Food Network), go sledding with the kids, and play board games! Of course we also had a wondeful Thanksgiving dinner which she practically did by herself, except with a little help from the Sous Chefs.. :) Everything was delicious and wonderful and we left sad to not be able to enjoy them longer. I especially had fun with our nephew Austin trying to finish a 1000 piece puzzle!

We're extra thankful for family this year... it was especially nice for me to get to know Jeremy's family a little better. We can't wait until the next "get-together".
